NEW LYME LEGISLATION IN RI
(June 2021)
2021 SENATE BILL S-0711, presented by Sen. Stephen Archambault, was passed and enacted in June 2021. This document directs the Department of Health to update information and treatment protocols considering multiple reliable resources to physicians on a timely basis.  It  refers to the 2002  RI LAWS on LYME Title 2, Chapter 37.5; and, addresses the similarities with COVID symptoms.  This is a big step in the right direction for Lyme & TBI patients in RI.

By supporting our various fundraising efforts, or by making private donations, you make it possible for us to work with Lyme-literate physicians and assist individuals suspected of having Lyme disease obtain proper testing. These funds also make it possible for us to do things such as create printed materials for public distribution, purchase Lyme disease related books for our library, purchase and install signs to raise public awareness, and provide resourceful materials in relation to tick prevention, symptoms, and Lyme disease treatment. Attendance at local and national conferences would not be possible without the financial support of the people who believe in our mission.
